About the Program

Doosra mauka, literally translated as “second chance,” is an initiative that provides a platform for girls from marginalized backgrounds, who are often bereft of opportunities due to societal biases and lack of access. We believe the potential of women in rural areas is immense and we wish to help them work toward a brighter future.

The girls learn to tailor, count, measure, and market - and they're excelling in every way! Doosra Mauka is a grassroots-level effort aimed at empowering girls to dissolve any internal or external barriers they may face. It is committed to creating opportunities and making a difference in the rural community.

"Another chance for aspiring girls to be self-reliant"
